Li Shufu, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and Chairman of Geely Holding Group, stated during the National Two Sessions in Beijing that the automotive industry has entered the era of artificial intelligence (AI), according to a report by TVB News.

He emphasized that all aspects of technology should undergo a strategic transformation toward AI to advance product R&D. Li noted that competition exists across the industry, and R&D efforts should focus on meeting user demands. With consumers at different levels having varying needs, he called for concerted efforts to propel the industry’s development.
