Foxconn Chairman Young Liu said he met with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman earlier today (30th), and the two companies will advance cooperation, with details to be announced once finalized.

He said any agreement will build on the agreement reached by the duo last year, with both sides cooperating in the design and engineering of data center racks, components and other AI hardware.

Liu remarked there is no bubble in the AI industry and envisioned the company's performance to maintain double-digit growth next year. The company currently has six factories in Houston, Texas, manufacturing AI servers for NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA.US), and believes there is a need for further expansion there.
