NVIDIA Jensen Huang Dismisses AI Doomsday Theory, Says Odds of Apocalypse by 2030 Is Zero
NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA.US) CEO Jensen Huang again dismissed the AI doomsday theory, saying AI will not pose an existential risk to humanity. He said under any circumstances, 2030 will not be the end of the world, and the chance of an apocalypse is zero.
Huang has repeatedly reiterated in recent days that AI can be managed safely, but he also opposes the introduction of new regulatory measures, arguing that development in the AI industry should not slow down.
He accentuated that products should not be released before they are ready, nor should unsafe products be delivered.
