Tesla, Inc. (TSLA.US)'s Shanghai data center, which was specifically prepared for the rollout of FSD in China, had been vacated and that the related liaison team had fully withdrawn, according to market talks.

However, the National Business Daily cited sources from Tesla China as saying the reports were untrue.

Tesla Vice President Grace Tao had said in February 2026 that the company would actively participate in the development of the intelligent assisted driving sector in China.

Although Tesla has not officially rolled out the "full-featured FSD" to Chinese users, the company has been adapting the system for the China market, establishing training centers in China and deploying training capabilities tailored for the local market in advance, she said.
