Last Saturday (8th), a support document titled "Use Qianwen with Apple Intelligence on Mac" appeared in the simplified Chinese Mac user guide on Apple's official website, Chinese media reported.

The document mentioned that Apple Intelligence could work with the Qwen model of BABA-W (09988.HK). However, the operating manual was removed from Apple's official website last Sunday (9th), and the original webpage link could no longer be accessed normally.

According to the document, the Qwen extension supports Writing Tools and Siri. The Qwen extension is applicable to macOS 26.6 or above.

Users can enable the function if they meet one of the following three conditions: being located in Mainland China with the Apple account country or region set to Mainland China; using a Mainland China version Mac model; or being physically located in Mainland China without signing into an Apple account.
