European New Car Registrations Score 4-Mth Rising Streak in Oct w/ 2x+ Growth in BYD Car Sales
Owing to escalating demand for affordable pure electric vehicles, Europe recorded 1.09 million new car registrations in October, marking a YoY increase of 4.9% and a four-month rising streak, according to the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association.
Overall, Renault's sales rose by 11% last month, and both Volkswagen and BMW achieved strong growth. BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) also saw its sales surge by 2 times, overtaking Tesla (TSLA.US), which logged a fall of 48% in sales.
