Apple (AAPL.US) continued to advance its plans to launch Apple Intelligence in mainland China, with an expected release by the end of the year, according to Mark Gurman's Power On released yesterday (7th).

A Chinese media noted that the report says that Apple is collaborating with BABA-W (09988.HK) and BIDU-SW (09888.HK) to introduce Apple Intelligence to the China market through iOS 26.1 or iOS 26.2 by year-end.

BIDU-SW expanded its incline sharply after midday today, and once spiked 12.8% to a high of $109.4, logging the highest level in nearly a year since October 2024. It last printed at $106.4, rallying 9.69%, with trading volume sharply increasing to 43.3651 million shares (compared to approx. 23.9 million shares for last Friday), involving $4.484 billion.

BABA-W last printed at $137.5 after midday, ballooning 4.32%, with a trading volume of 127 million shares, involving $17.297 billion.
