DJIA Ends Up 374 Pts; Oil Prices Dive 8% after Iran Retaliates Against US Attack

The U.S. intervened in the Israel-Iran war over the weekend, after which U.S. President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social urging everyone to keep oil prices low. However, oil prices slid over 8%, as Iran attacked a U.S. military base in Qatar on Monday, which caused no casualties.

U.S. stocks rattled on Monday, initially reverting down before rallying to close higher. The DJIA closed up 374 points or 0.9%, at 42,581; the S&P 500 added 57 points or 1%, closing at 6,025; and the Nasdaq lifted 183 points or 0.9%, closing at 19,630.

Tesla (TSLA.US) launched its autonomous taxi service Robotaxi in Texas, with its stock price soaring 8.2%.
