Cisco Systems (CSCO.US) announced on Tuesday that it is undertaking significant AI and infrastructure initiatives in the Middle East, and will collaborate with the 'AI Infrastructure Partnership (AIP)' led by BlackRock, Microsoft (MSFT.US), Nvidia (NVDA.US) and other companies, involving a US$30 billion investment.
In Saudi Arabia, Cisco has partnered with the country's AI enterprise, Humain, to develop world-leading AI infrastructure. Furthermore, Cisco will expand its strategic partnership with G42 to enhance AI innovation and infrastructure in the UAE.
Lastly, Cisco entered into a letter of intent with Qatar's Ministry of Interior, focusing on digital transformation, AI and cybersecurity efforts.
