CPCA: CN Mar Pax Car/ NEV Sales Hike 36%/ 44% MoM

The retail sales in China's passenger car market reached 1.889 million units in March, up 12% YoY and 36% MoM, according to data released by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA). The total retail sales in 1Q25 amounted to 5.064 million units, up 5% YoY.
During the period, retail sales of new energy passenger vehicle market increased by 39% YoY and 44% MoM to 988,000 units. Total retail sales for 1Q25 amounted to 2.414 million units, up 37% YoY.
