China and EU technical teams held five rounds of in-depth consultations in Beijing from November 2 to 7 on the specific details of the price commitment plan for the EU's anti-subsidy case on Chinese electric vehicles (EVs), and certain progress was achieved during the consultations, according to a report by CCTV's Yuyuantantian.

After the consultations, both China and the EU mentioned in press releases that progress was made. Report said this detail implied a consensus between both sides on "making progress" in consultations.

After negotiations, China and the EU have reached a "technical consensus", particularly achieving agreement on the price commitment framework and the mechanism for implementing the agreement.
